Toledo Grand Opening
Bangkok

July 31st 2013 - Fratelli Rossetti is expanding within the Far East with the opening of its first boutique in Thailand. The premises, with a surface area of approximately 100 square meters (330 square feet) are located in the prestigious Gaysorn Plaza in Bangkok.
The new boutique concept by French architect François Muracciole draws inspiration from the essence of craftsmanship.
The Bangkok boutique inaugurated today at the presence of Diego Rossetti, President of the brand. Celebrities and socialites took part into the event, including Ms. Chutima Durongdej, formerly Miss Thai, and Mr. Dan Hetrakul, media mogul.
During the opening, the Master Craftsman revealed the secrets of a timeless style: the event showcased the Toledo, a manual dyeing technique. The neutral vegetally tanned calfskin uppers are buffed by hand; the final result is bright and glossy, leather aquires lights shades.
The utmost refinement of Made to Order is offered for the first time: assisted by the Master Craftsman, guests can pick up their favorite colour for footwear; shoes will be exclusive one-offs, entirely by hand. Every item will be personalized with the customer’s own initials, branded into the inner lining.
“The Bangkok grand opening is a fundamental step in Fratelli Rossetti’s expansion within the Asian market, where the brand has already been warmly received. We are certain that people from Thailand will appreciate the quality, craftsmanship and design of our products”, explained Diego, Dario and Luca Rossetti.
The Bangkok boutique is part of a major expansion plan of the brand targeted primarily at the Asian market, with 7 boutiques due to open in the upcoming 5 years. The number of boutiques reaches the quote of 40 worldwide.
